Project: Haus on the Ridge
Product used: HO955
Contractor: Robert Varga of Salisbury Resources
Set amongst the beautiful Kent countryside with impressive views of the rolling hills is the stunning Haus On The Ridge residential project. The modern property required an aesthetic product to remain in keeping with its minimalist design, whilst offering a functional decking solution for the outside terrace area.
Trekker composite decking boards were specified in Vulcan Grooved. The composite decking planks create texture through its inherent grooves, alongside providing strong visual appeal with its ash grey colouring. The modern alternative to timber boards; an advantage of composite decking is that it does not warp or rot and therefore requires little maintenance.
A safe choice for a family home, the decking is denser, harder and heavier than its timber counterpart with no risk of splintering due to its Wood Plastic Composite (WPC) formulation. Furthermore, the decking also benefits from being anti-slip as the trekker borders are resistant to algae growth - ideal for an outdoor entertaining space.
